FFEN volunteers are helping food shelves provide
the sustenance and stability of food to
Minnesotans who may otherwise go hungry.
I am really enjoying everything that I am learning at FFEN, as well as the people that I am meeting. This is such a great volunteer opportunity! I am so glad that I found it!”

FFEN seeks to reshape the hunger relief system to provide healthy, equitable, and predictable food options across the state. As a small organization with only two full-time staff members, volunteers are critical in reaching this goal. FFEN is only able to support Minnesota food shelves because of our network of dedicated volunteers who contribute their time and talents to improving food access across the state. FFEN volunteers and interns lend their project management skills and subject area expertise to food shelves so that they can consistently offer more and healthier foods to their clients.
