Make An Impact

FFEN volunteers are helping food shelves provide

the sustenance and stability of food to many people across

Minnesota who may otherwise go hungry.

FFEN’s ability to support local food shelves is only possible because of our volunteers’ time and talent.  FFEN volunteers and interns are providing project management and subject area expertise to help food shelves offer more and healthier food consistently to clients.

How you can help

Volunteer and intern roles can be highly customizable, with most commitments being project based. Commitments vary based on particular projects and can be as little as 5 hours or up to 10 hours a month for 12 months. Current positions are posted below, but FFEN is always open to a conversation about unique ways you may be able to support our Minnesota food shelf system.

Volunteering with FFEN is less about sorting the produce at the food shelf each week and more about supporting process change so that there is produce at the food shelf each week!”
