Let's see what FFEN has been up to in the past two weeks!
Waconia United Food Shelf
FFEN staff, Kate and Katie, and SuperShelf lead consultant, Dianne Davis-Kenning, were able to meet with Waconia United Food Shelf staff last Friday to review their Food Sourcing Analysis Reports (one capturing CY 2020 data and one capturing YTD 2021 data). Every food shelf that moves forward with a SuperShelf transformation receives a FSA Report Consultation with FFEN. This report and consultation supports SuperShelf’s work on restructuring categories and understanding current and historical food budgeting.
Valley Outreach recently reached out to us requesting updated FSA Reports for specific timeframes. They want an ability to see pre-COVID data, during COVID data, and current data for their new model. Our FSA Reports give the ability to identify change and trends over time, which is exactly what Valley Outreach is interested in. FFEN partners who have received an FSA Report in the past can always reach out to us to request a new report!
New Creation Baptist Church
Our partners at New Creation Baptist Church (NCBC) recently began testing out new signage supplied by FFEN. This signage closely aligns with our FSA Report - the categories outlined in the signage are the same categories that FFEN uses in our FSA Report. Our FSA Report allows for an ability to shift in categories (which the signage reinforces) and an ability to measure impact and shopper satisfaction.
Here’s Kate in action at NCBC supporting the implementation and testing of their new signs!
