FFEN Is People
FFEN's history and talented people are key to our unique niche and success.
Our history
Founded in 2010 by a dedicated group of Minnesota business leaders, professionals and others, FFEN focused immediately on fighting hunger and poverty, with special focus on ensuring stability for basic needs organizations. In 2013, leadership expanded its service area across the state. Now, FFEN is committed solely to food shelf support.
Kate Burggraff joined FFEN as executive director in October, 2018. She brings more than 15 years of experience in hunger relief and nonprofit management to her role, with expertise in volunteer management and community partnerships via food banks, food shelves and meal programs.
